Adam is a member of the firm's Life Sciences Health Industry Group and represents leading pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in consolidated and individual product liability lawsuits at all stages of litigation. Adam has also handled a wide variety of complex business litigation and government investigations, including securities class actions, FCPA investigations, and corporate governance, antitrust, contract, and fraudulent conveyance lawsuits. He has obtained trial and appellate court victories in many jurisdictions, including federal courts in the Second Circuit and Sixth Circuit, as well as state courts in New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

Adam received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1995 and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2000, where he was awarded the John J. McKay Prize for Excellence in Oral Advocacy and selected to the National Moot Court team. He was also selected to the Criminal Defense Clinic and was a member of the Fordham International Law Journal. He served as a judicial intern to U.S. Magistrate Arlene R. Lindsay of the Eastern District of New York.

Adam has lectured and written on federal preemption issues. Adam's pro bono work includes advising a prominent Brazilian not-for-profit foundation on matters involving U.S. law and successfully defending an eviction proceeding that resulted in his client obtaining title to her home. Adam is a member of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce.
