Alan L. Kazlow

For over thirty-five years Mr. Kazlow has concentrated his practice in all areas of the cooperative and condominium field. Mr. Kazlow authored the pioneering plans for the mixed-use Olympic Tower Condominium and the 1,100 unit condo/co-op Concord Village. His extensive practice includes representation of cooperative and condominium boards, institutional construction lenders, individual sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants, and in the areas of work-outs, bulk sales and acquisitions, auction sales, and cooperative mortgage refinancings. Currently, Mr. Kazlow is the chair of a joint committee of the New York State and City bar associations, working together to modernize the State’s condominium act.

A former Assistant Attorney General in the predecessor to the Real Estate Financing Bureau, Mr. Kazlow served as co-chairman of the Attorney General’s task force to revise the State’s Condominium Act and as consultant in promulgation of the Attorney General’s cooperative and condominium regulations.
