Alan Talkington,

a San Francisco partner, is Chair of Orrick’s San Francisco Corporate Group and served as Chair of the firm’s Corporate Department for several years. He works with a broad range of public and private companies, including multinational energy, technology, manufacturing and financial services companies. Mr. Talkington's experience also includes emerging-growth life science, software and other technology companies. He has extensive experience in public and private offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic alliances as well as general corporate representation. He also advises investors and boards of directors on corporate governance issues.
