Alex Blanchard's practice focuses on complex civil, criminal, and regulatory disputes. He regularly works on matters arising under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and has experience conducting internal criminal investigations.

Alex also maintains an active pro bono practice. He is currently representing an asylum applicant from Guatemala before the U.S. Immigration Court, and he regularly volunteers with the D.C. Bar Association's Landlord Tenant Resource Center.

While in law school, Alex worked for the Albemarle County, Virginia Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, trying two jury cases to verdict and handling more than a dozen bench trials.
