Alex Jackins has more than 16 years of experience in real estate and general corporate matters.

Mr. Jackins represents public agencies, businesses, real estate investors, developers, landlords, and tenants in the sale, acquisition, development and leasing of commercial properties. He has broad experience representing clients in large scale mixed-use development and technology projects involving both public and private sector funding and innovative financing arrangements. Mr. Jackins has experience with the acquisition and disposition of air rights in connection with large scale mixed-use and transit oriented developments and he has advised public sector clients on various methods to maximize the value of assets that may be used to encourage private sector funding including, without limitation, the sale of air rights and naming rights, the use of tax increment financing, business improvement districts, tax credits and developer fees.

His corporate practice covers a broad array of business and commercial matters including business formation, mergers and acquisitions, the preparation of commercial agreements, and other general corporate matters.

Mr. Jackins also possesses wide-ranging trial experience handling litigation involving complex commercial transactions and real property disputes. He has represented real estate investors, developers, builders, landlord, and multi-national corporations before federal and state courts and in arbitration.
