Amanda Kitchen Short

Amanda's environmental and real estate practice focuses on a wide range of matters including site remediation, corporate compliance, enforcement, permitting and hazardous and solid waste liability. She has advised clients with regard to the investigation and cleanup of hundreds of contaminated properties, including remediations done under state voluntary cleanup and underground storage tank programs. She also represents sellers, purchasers, lenders, tenants and landlords in all aspects of business transactions, including environmental due diligence, developing strategies for managing environmental risks, and negotiating and drafting of environmental representations, warranties, indemnities, escrow agreements and cleanup agreements.

Amanda regularly works with the business community and environmental agencies in negotiating Brownfields Agreements for the redevelopment of contaminated sites.
