ANDREW D. HART is a partner in the New York office of Sidley Austin LLP. Mr. Hart’s practice involves the representation of a wide range of clients in disputes arising out of lender-debtor relationships, real estate transactions, the issuance and underwriting of debt, equity, and commercial insurance as well as a variety of other commercial and contractual relationships. He has represented clients in complex litigation matters at both the trial and appellate levels in federal and state courts throughout the United States as well as in various arbitral forums.

Mr. Hart maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients in various civil and criminal proceedings. As a member of the firm’s Capital Litigation group, Mr. Hart currently represents a client on death row in Alabama in state post-conviction proceedings.

Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Mr. Hart served as a clerk to the Honorable A. Richard Caputo of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
