Andrew Horne is a litigation attorney with significant experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, particularly in connection with matters involving international elements. He is qualified to practice in New York, England & Wales, and Scotland. His main areas of practice include antitrust, commercial disputes, securities and financial services regulation. Prior to joining Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Mr. Horne taught international private law and delict (tort) at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.

He has represented clients in arbitrations and in state and federal courts across the United States and has advised clients in connection with disputes pending before tribunals in Europe and South America. Most recently, Mr. Horne successfully argued an appeal in the Delaware Supreme Court securing his client a $28 million damages award.

Mr. Horne is an Associate Fellow of the Society for Advanced Legal studies, a former Subcommittee Chair of the American Bar Association's International Litigation Committee and was a 2000-2001 Kennedy Scholar at Harvard Law School.
