Anthony Ashton practices in the area of securities and business litigation, representing individuals and local, national and multinational corporations in actions involving class actions, mass torts, consumer protection statutes, contract disputes, shareholders' rights and fiduciary duties of officers and directors.

Anthony serves as the Chair of DLA Piper's African American/Black Affinity Group, and heads the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the Firm's Baltimore offices. In 2013, he was recognized by the National Association of the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) with the Champions of Justice award.
