Anthony P. Piscitelli

Skip Piscitelli is a member of Wilson Elser’s highly regarded New York government relations practice. An experienced lobbyist at both the state and city levels, Skip divides his time between the firm’s Albany and New York City offices. His in-depth understanding of the nuances of the legislative process and the internal procedures of the Legislature and Governor’s office enable him to effectively advance client interests. At the city level, the relationships Skip cultivated in the Mayor’s office and across all city agencies while serving as the longest-tenured chief lobbyist for New York City enable him to get client issues in front of key decisionmakers.

Prior to joining the firm, Skip served as the director of the New York City Office of State Legislative Affairs under both Mayor Michael Bloomberg and former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. In this role, he represented the City of New York’s interests before the legislative and executive branches of New York State government and was directly involved with the drafting and adoption of a number of state statutes. He also has held positions as special assistant to New York City Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta, assistant legislative representative to former Mayors David Dinkins and Rudolph Giuliani, assistant to the New York City Commissioner of Economic Development, special assistant to the president of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, and law secretary in the New York State Supreme Court.
