Tony is a commercial litigator, counselor, and regulatory lawyer. He frequently represents clients in the financial services, technology, and manufacturing sectors. His broad range of experiences include defeating certification of a nationwide fair lending discrimination class action lawsuit brought against a major bank; representing policyholders in insurance coverage disputes with their insurance carriers; serving for over a decade as national science counsel for several Fortune 500 companies facing thousands of product liability claims; first-chairing an International Arbitration protesting NATO's award of a $2 billion missile defense contract to a competing bidder; and securing within hours of submission CPSC's approval of a recall plan that for only the third time in CPSC history required no public disclosures.

Tony is heavily involved in firm management, with responsibilities that include (or have included) serving as Deputy Practice Group Leader of the Regulatory Litigation Group; the Associate Development Partner for the Washington, D.C. office; and the creator and chair of the D.C. office's monthly trial training program. Tony also heads up the firm's Food; Import Safety; and Nanotechnology Teams.
