Ms. Boyer practices in the areas of employment law and complex commercial litigation. She represents companies in state and federal courts, in arbitrations and before administrative agencies in a variety of civil matters. She has significant experience litigating the enforceability of restrictive covenants as well as defending employers in discrimination claims (including claims under Title VII, FCRA and § 1981) and whistleblower/retaliation lawsuits. In addition to litigating matters, Ms. Boyer’s employment law experience enables her to train and counsel employers on making day-to-day employment decisions, drafting and interpreting enforceability of restrictive covenants (including non-compete agreements), conducting internal investigations of discrimination, harassment and/or retaliation complaints, and complying with state and federal employment laws and regulations. She also counsels and trains on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and general ethics compliance.
