Arnie Gough, a partner in the corporate department, has been involved in various aspects of the firm’s leveraged lease and structured finance practice for approximately 25 years.

Mr. Gough has represented lessees and equity investors in numerous domestic and cross-border leasing and structured finance transactions involving real estate, transportation equipment, production equipment, mining equipment, and facilities. He has been involved in the development of several cross-border and domestic transaction structures. Mr. Gough also has substantial experience in secured lending, asset sale transactions, and airline bankruptcies.

Mr. Gough has also represented both solar developers and equity investors in connection with both distributive and utility scale solar sale leaseback transactions. In addition, Mr. Gough represented the purchaser of a nationwide solar portfolio.

Mr. Gough is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he received a B.B.A. in 1978 and a J.D. in 1981, and was a staff member of the Notre Dame Lawyer.

Mr. Gough was honored in the 2007 and 2008 editions of The Best Lawyers in America for equipment finance law, in The International Who’s Who of Aviation Lawyers 2008, and 2010-2014 and in The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers 2009.
Activities

Mr. Gough has been a member of the Corporate Associate Training Program for more than 20 years. He serves on the Board of Directors and as a guardian ad litem for Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
