Asra A. Chatham is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Miami office. She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and product liability defense.

Representative Experience

Defends health insurer in putative class action for alleged violations of Florida statutory law.
Represents health care practice groups and physicians in connection with shareholder disputes, non compete agreements, and regulatory issues.
Defends major chemical company in products liability lawsuits, including toxic tort and pollution claims.

Asra received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was an articles and comments editor for the Miami Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board. While at the University of Miami, Asra also served as a teaching assistant for torts and legal writing, and received book awards in property, torts and cultural property.
