Benjamin C. Miller joined Adams and Reese in 2017 as Special Counsel in the Litigation Practice Group in the firm’s Houston office. He is a trial lawyer with a practice focused on personal injury litigation, products liability litigation, premises liability litigation, construction litigation, and commercial and general civil litigation. Benjamin works strategically with his clients to determine the course of action that will provide favorable outcomes for his clients under the circumstances.

Among his representative experience, he

Defended a chemical supplier against claims of negligence, breach of contract, and breach of warranty in an action arising out of allegedly contaminated diesel fuel.
Defended a drilling company in negligence and breach of contract action in connection with work performed on a pipeline installation project.
Defended a pipeline installation company against negligence and private nuisance claims arising out of a pipeline project.
Defended a tire inflator manufacturer in products liability action in federal court.

In the legal community, Benjamin is a member of the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association and the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. He has also been recognized as a Texas Rising Star® in Civil Litigation: Defense since 2015.

Benjamin earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law where he participated in the Mock Trial Program. He earned an M.A. in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York. His studies included research in the field of juror decision-making and jury selection. Benjamin also holds a B.A. in Psychology from Southwestern University.
