Ben Carson represents technology companies in public and private mergers and acquisitions transactions. In addition to his transactional work, he advises companies on venture capital and general corporate matters.
Ben's recent representative transactions include SAP's acquisition of Ariba ($4.3 billion), Lam Research's acquisition of Novellus ($3.3 billion), Atmel's acquisition of Advanced Digital Design, Hitachi Data Systems Corporation's acquisition of Cofio Software, and PageMill Partners' sale to Duff & Phelps.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Ben was an associate in the New York office of an international law firm, where he was a member of that firm's corporate practice and worked on a variety of M&A and capital markets transactions in the U.S. and Latin America.
