Ben is a Shareholder and member of Maynard Cooper’s Litigation section.

Ben has a diverse litigation practice. He is an experienced litigator and trial attorney representing individuals and businesses in complex business disputes, real estate litigation and intellectual property disputes in state and federal court and before arbitration panels. Ben also regularly defends doctors and other healthcare providers in medical malpractice actions as well as drug and medical device manufacturers in product liability cases.

For nearly a decade, Ben has represented landowners, developers and financial institutions in commercial litigation matters involving real estate transactions, land ownership disputes and property tax appeals.

Ben handles a variety of intellectual property litigation matters. He prosecutes and defends cases involving copyright, trademark and trade dress infringement claims. Ben prosecutes and defends trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Ben also handles domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy. Ben also works with clients to protect their intellectual property and trade secrets, both during and after employment. In this regard, Ben handles trade secret and non-compete cases.
