Blair joined the firm in 2016 as counsel in the Corporate & Transactional Advisory Group. Her practice covers a broad range of securities/transactional, corporate, and commercial matters. Prior to joining the firm, Blair spent eight years at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, including serving as counsel to Commissioners Elisse B. Walter and Kara M. Stein. She also served as Deputy Chief Counsel in the Office of the Chief Accountant where she advised the Chief Accountant on matters related to auditor independence, oversight of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and the Financial Accounting Standards Board. She also served as Special Counsel in the Division of Corporation Finance drafting rulemakings and reviewing filings. Prior to joining the staff of the SEC, Blair worked in private practice representing both issuers and underwriters in a variety of public and private offerings.
