Bonita (Bonnie) Moore is a member of the firm’s labor and employment group but is a diverse litigator with experience representing clients in a wide range of civil litigation and arbitration beyond employment, including complex business disputes, copyright, trademark and professional liability matters. She has also successfully defended appeals, preserving victories won in the trial courts.

With substantial class action experience, Bonnie carries the distinction of being one of few lawyers to have successfully taken a wage and hour class action through trial to judgment. Her experience also includes defending putative wage-hour class actions involving claims for unpaid overtime, unlawful deductions from wages and misclassification for clients in a variety of industries, including hospitality, manufacturing, and sports and entertainment. In the employment arena, Bonnie has also litigated on behalf of and counseled corporate, health care and celebrity clients in matters involving claims of breach of contract, wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment.

Bonnie successfully represented the co-conservators of Britney Spears on behalf of Britney Spears in a several-week jury trial. Bonnie has represented numerous other clients in sensitive, complex and/or high-stakes matters.

Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Bonnie was a principal with Bird Marella in Los Angeles. Prior to law school, she enjoyed a successful career in public policy at the Congressional Budget Office in Washington, D.C. and the RAND Corporation, a think tank, in Santa Monica, California.
