Brandon Bortner, counsel in the Corporate Department of the Washington, D.C. office, has been with the firm since 2004. Mr. Bortner focuses his practice in the areas of securities, private equity and corporate finance, and public company representation. Mr. Bortner's experience includes private and public debt and equity securities offerings, venture capital financings and buyout and acquisition transactions. He also counsels new and established public companies regarding their financial reporting obligations, corporate governance matters and other issues related to public company status. Mr. Bortner has represented both public and private companies in the technology, hospitality, communications and manufacturing sectors and represents investment banks, including J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, UBS and Piper Jaffray, in high yield debt financings and equity offerings.
