Mr. Betancourt focuses his practice on the financing and development of energy and infrastructure projects, as well as the acquisition and divestiture of energy and infrastructure facilities. He routinely advises clients with respect to both traditional power generation and renewable energy projects. He is also experienced, both as sponsor’s counsel and lender’s counsel, in the restructuring of projects. Mr. Betancourt has been involved in several infrastructure projects involving public-private partnerships.

In addition, Mr. Betancourt regularly advises financial institutions in connection with financings, liquidity and credit support facilities for not-for-profit entities.
