Brian Kinney is special counsel in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm’s Financial Restructuring Group.
Mr. Kinney has represented statutory and ad hoc committees, creditors, debtors and other interested parties in chapter 11 reorganization cases, international insolvencies and out-of-court restructurings in the United States and abroad. Mr. Kinney also has extensive experience negotiating debtor-in-possession financing and adequate protection arrangements, negotiating and structuring reorganization plans, and representing acquirors and sellers of assets of and claims against chapter 11 debtors and financially distressed companies.
