Brian England is a member of S&C’s Litigation Group and has been special counsel since January 1, 2009.
Mr. England’s practice focuses on the defense of complex business litigation, with particular concentration on securities, antitrust, unfair competition, intellectual property and false advertising actions. He has represented clients in patent and trademark enforcement actions and against antitrust claims arising from those enforcement actions. Mr. England has also represented and advised corporate clients in dealings with regulatory agencies, including NASD and FINRA. He has also represented corporate clients, both foreign and domestic, in licensing and commercial transaction matters. He regularly appears in federal and state courts throughout California.
Mr. England is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth, Ninth and Federal Circuits, the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of California, and the District Courts of Arizona and the District of Columbia.
