Britnee M. Reamy

Britnee Reamy is a Principal in Fish & Richardson’s Dallas office. Her practice emphasizes all areas of intellectual property procurement and enforcement, with a particular focus on patent litigation. Ms. Reamy has worked with a wide variety of technologies, ranging from chemicals and chemical processes to computer hardware/software and Internet applications. Ms. Reamy has effectively managed many litigations throughout her practice, and successfully led six jury trials during her stint as a lawyer on loan with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office.

Since January 2011, Ms. Reamy has taken an active role on the Firm’s Re-Engineering Initiative. Ms. Reamy has led many projects to further the Firm’s vision of increasing efficiency in its litigation practice while maintaining or elevating the Firm’s excellent standard of quality. Additionally, Ms. Reamy recently took an active role in the Firm’s alternative fee practice. Through this practice, she works with clients to obtain, review, commercialize, and enforce patents with alternative fee arrangements.

Ms. Reamy’s technical experience includes interning with the Research and Development divisions of Proctor & Gamble’s Hair Care and Antiperspirant/Deodorant business units (2000, 2001, and 2002). She also worked as a Research Assistant for Clarkson University’s Department Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in New York. She has other experience as a Teaching Assistant with the University of Texas General Engineering/Emerging Scholars Program (1998-2001).

Ms. Reamy also has experience and a deep interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She clerked for the Northern District of California’s well known Alternative Dispute Resolution program (2004) and for Stanford Law School’s Gould Center for Conflict Dispute Resolution (2004-2005). Clients appreciate Ms. Reamy’s ability to creatively problem solve and efficiently obtain effective results for her clients.
