Bruce W. Moorhead Jr

Bruce Moorhead's practice focuses on the representation of financial institutions in leveraged and asset-based lending transactions and in workouts and bankruptcies. He has extensive experience in asset-based lending, problem loan resolution and cross-border financing. He represents financial institutions and intermediaries as administrative and collateral agents in connection with syndicated loans, leveraged acquisition lending, cash flow lending, asset-based lending, mezzanine financing and cross-border financing as well as resolution of problem loans, debtor-in-possession financing, and exit financing facilities.

Bruce's recent experience as counsel to the agent includes the following representative credit facilities: $50 million senior subordinated unitranche term loan for a manufacturer of specialty plastics; the successful restructuring and payment in full of a defaulted $25 million multi-tranche facility for a packager and distributor of food oils; $75 million cross-border credit facility with an asset-based revolver and term loan for a manufacturer of HVAC products (U.S. and Canada); $60 million cross-border credit facility with an asset-based revolver and term loan for a metal products manufacturer and distributor (U.S., U.K., and Canada); $30 million asset-based revolver for a manufacturer and retailer of designer clothing; and $15 million second lien term loan for a trucking and logistics company.

Bruce is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is the past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Bridge, a residential treatment center for abused adolescents.
