Bryan L. Elwood

Bryan L. Elwood represents creditors, debtors, and other parties-in-interest in the areas of creditors' and debtors' rights and complex Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 bankruptcy cases. Mr. Elwood also advises and counsels clients in general corporate matters and in business acquisitions and divestitures. He has handled all aspects of asset sales and purchases, starting with the initial strategy development, letter of intent, and due diligence phases, through negotiating purchase agreements and closing of the transaction. Bryan also provides corporate governance and business transaction services, including advising and preparing formation documents, corporate resolutions, and corporate governance documents, and has broad experience in negotiating and preparing contracts and settlement agreements and in analyzing complex true sale and non-consolidation issues and preparing related legal opinions.
