C. Brannon Robertson

Brannon Robertson

is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. His practice covers a wide range of matters, including business disputes, construction, maritime, personal injury, environmental torts, toxic torts, and product liability. Texas Monthly magazine recognized him as a Rising Star in 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2011.

Mr. Robertson has litigated matters in federal and state courts across the United States. He also has significant experience with arbitrations. He is admitted to practice before all Texas state and federal courts, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Robertson is a Fellow of the Texas and Houston Bar Foundations and serves on the State Bar Committee for Legal Services to the Poor in Civil Matters. He frequently represents individuals on a pro bono basis, has served and continues to serve on numerous Houston Bar committees, and is a CLE speaker. He also volunteers as an assistant district attorney for Fort Bend County, Texas.

Mr. Robertson graduated, cum laude, from Baylor University in 1994. He then received his J.D. from The University of Texas in 1997. He joined King & Spalding in 1999. Before joining King & Spalding, Mr. Robertson was the law clerk to the Honorable Nancy K. Johnson, United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

He is involved in a number of community organizations outside the legal profession, including the United Way, where he is a member of United Way Young Leaders and its Community Investment Team. He is also on the board of LIFE/Houston, a non-profit corporation that provides formula to at-risk infants in the Houston area.
