Casey K. Fleming is an associate at Foley & Lardner LLP where she focuses her practice on employee benefits, executive compensation, and related issues pertaining to implementing and maintaining retirement and welfare plans. Ms. Fleming’s employee benefits work includes advising private and public employers in the design and administration of traditional defined benefit pension, profit sharing and Code section 401(k) retirement plans; Code section 403(b) tax-deferred annuity plans; and nonqualified deferred compensation plans. Ms. Fleming also assists employers with matters related to health and welfare benefit plans, such as issues related to COBRA continuation coverage, HIPAA privacy and portability rules, and the application of the new health care reform laws.
In addition to her traditional employee benefits work, Ms. Fleming frequently advises clients on employee benefits and executive compensation issues arising in merger and acquisition transactions.
Ms. Fleming is a member of the firm’s Business Law Department, Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice, and Labor & Employment Practice. She also serves as a member of the firm’s Associates Committee, where she leads a subcommittee on compensation and benefits.
