Catherine M. Dacre

Catherine Dacre leads the Wage & Hour Litigation Practice Group in Seyfarth Shaw’s San Francisco office. Her practice includes wage and hour class action litigation of California Labor Code and FLSA claims in state and federal court. Ms. Dacre has an 25-year history in litigation representing clients in the retail, personal services, pharmaceutical, technology, health care, hospitality, food manufacturing, security services, restaurant, insurance, financial services, construction, publishing, trucking, and entertainment industries, through trial and appeal. She has successfully defended employers in wage and hour class actions, as well as discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, whistleblower and other matters in state and federal court.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal upheld summary judgment and denial of class certification in an overtime compensation case she defended for an international client.

Ms. Dacrehas conducted numerous seminars and trainings on employment topics for a wide variety of clients and organizations, and is a contributor to the Firm’s recently published treatise on wage and hour law, Wage and Hour Collective and Class Litigation.
