Charlie has broad experience as a tax advisor in domestic and international business transactions, including real estate financing, sale and exchange transactions; state and federal tax credit transactions; corporate mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations; joint ventures; public and private securities offerings; and public finance transactions.

He is a former adjunct professor of law for the graduate tax program at Emory University. Licensed to practice law in Georgia, Florida and Kentucky, Charles received his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida in 1975; his J.D. from the University of Louisville in 1974; and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky in 1971.
