Charles Westland is of counsel in the New York Office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm's Litigation & Arbitration Group.

Mr. Westland has extensive experience in antitrust, trade regulation and premerger notification matters, including determining the applicability of premerger notification regulations to mergers and acquisitions, preparing and filing required notification forms, responding to government inquiries and investigations and obtaining government clearance. In addition, Mr. Westland has expertise coordinating with local counsel on foreign merger control filings. Mr. Westland has been involved in transactions in a variety of industries and businesses, ranging from electronics to energy and from pharmaceuticals to financial services.

Mr. Westland is a member of the antitrust sections of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
