Charlie J. Kim

Charles S. Kim is a partner in the Cooley Business department and is a member of the Capital Markets, Debt Securities Transactions and Public Companies practice groups. He joined the Firm in 2003 and is resident in the Firm's San Diego office and also maintains an office in the Firm's Los Angeles office. Mr. Kim has recently been named a Top 100 Lawyer in California by the Daily Journal, a Southern California Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters as well a San Diego Top Attorney by The Daily Transcript. In addition, the Firm's San Diego office has been named the #1 firm in San Diego as ranked by area corporate board members according to Corporate Board Member magazine.

Mr. Kim specializes in representing issuers, investment banking firms and venture capital firms in public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities. Mr. Kim's practice also includes representation in general corporate and securities law related matters, and in a variety of other transactions.
