During law school, she was a summer associate at Morrison & Foerster, as well as a law clerk in the Ventura County Public Defender’s Office. Ms. Arakawa received her B.S. in Biology from the California Institute of Technology.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Arakawa lived in Tokyo and worked as a professional translator. She is fluent in Japanese.
