Christine Z. Liu

Christine Liu is an associate in the Emerging Companies practice group and a member of the Cooley Business department. She is resident in the Palo Alto office.

Ms. Liu focuses on corporate and securities practice. She counsels public and private companies, as well as venture capital and private equity investors, on matters of securities, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, venture capital, private equity financing, joint ventures, and strategic alliances transactions. She represents companies in a wide range of industries, including biotechnology, medical device, software, internet, communications and clean technology.

Ms. Liu is the author of "Research on China's Rules of Transfer Pricing," Glamour of Law (Peking Univ. Publishing House 2000).

Ms. Liu received a J.D., cum laude, and an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where she served as Articles Editor of Journal of International Law and Policy and Associate Editor of China Law Review. She also received a LL.B. and a B.A. in Economics from Peking University in China. Ms. Liu is admitted to practice in Illinois (inactive), New York and California.
