Chris McLaughlin represents clients in complex civil litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout the country. He has extensive experience in all phases of litigation including discovery, motions practice, trial, and appeal. His practice focuses on the defense of companies in commercial disputes involving breach of contract, breach of warranty, and business torts relating to the performance of equipment and machinery. In addition, Chris has experience defending companies in product liability litigation involving pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Other areas of experience include civil RICO, consumer credit, covenants not to compete, trade secrets and unfair competition, and class action defense.

Chris is actively involved in legal and community affairs. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and is a barrister in the Judge John M. Manos Inn of Court. He also sits on the board of directors of Project Learn, an organization focused on advancing literacy and providing job support services to adults.
