Courtney B. Dyer

Courtney Dyer is a counsel in O’Melveny’s Washington, DC office and a member of the Antitrust and Competition Practice. Courtney’s areas of focus include government merger and non-merger investigations, private antitrust litigation, and counseling clients on antitrust issues. Courtney defends mergers and acquisitions before the US antitrust agencies under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 and represents clients in government nonmerger antitrust investigations. In recent years Courtney has represented clients in major transactions in the technology, biotech, healthcare, airline, food products, manufacturing, telecommunications, and energy industries. Courtney counsels clients on transactions under the Clayton Act, including joint ventures, and on antitrust issues under the Sherman Act and state antitrust statutes.



Courtney has a background in telecommunications and information systems. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked as a telecommunications manager at Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU). At NFCU, Courtney was responsible for managing the installation and support of voice network services and computer telephony integration for the company’s multiple call centers. Prior to working for NFCU, Courtney worked as an information systems manager at Circuit City Stores, Inc.’s corporate headquarters where she was responsible for implementing and managing the voice and network infrastructure for Circuit City’s credit card subsidiary.
