Curt L. Heffler

Curt is a member of the Financial Industry Group, practicing in the area of Financial Services. Curt has an extensive background in the representation of financial institutions in loan transactions with an emphasis on real estate financing. He has represented numerous commercial banks and other institutional lending sources in their construction and permanent lending activities. As a result Curt has developed expertise in the areas of interest rate swaps and other hedging transactions, conduit loan programs, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae financing, mezzanine debt transactions, and the sale and purchase of loan participations.

He also has significant experience in traditional commercial real estate transactions, such as property acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing and project financings. In the corporate area, Curt has represented numerous parties in the sale and purchase of their businesses, in addition to representing parties in various other corporate transactions.

Curt has authored numerous articles in the area of real estate law which have appeared in a variety of publications, including the Tri-State Real Estate Journal, the Pennsylvania Law Journal Reporter, and the Probate and Property Magazine of the American Bar Association Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section.
