Dan Prieto's practice focuses on business restructurings, distress acquisitions and dispositions, and other bankruptcy matters. He has represented debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, asset purchasers, lenders, and other interested parties in complex business restructuring and bankruptcy matters.

Dan's recent out-of-court and chapter 11 debtor matters include Bondex, Blake Offshore, FLYi/Independence Air, Hereford Biofuels, Kaiser Aluminum, NationsRent, PLVTZ LLC, Slater Steel, and USG Corporation. Dan's acquisition and disposition representations include bidders in Flying J, NetVersant, Noble, Red Shield, Signature Styles, and Zohar Waterworks and sellers in Hereford Biofuels. Recent litigation includes the defense of The Southern Company in fraudulent transfer litigation in the Mirant chapter 11 case. Dan's recent creditor representations include major creditors in the chapter 11 cases of G-I Holdings, SemCrude, and Sonoran Energy.
