Dan T. Moss

Dan Moss's practice focuses on business restructurings and mergers and acquisitions.

Dan was a member of the team that represented Chrysler LLC in the sale of substantially all its assets under section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code, the decision to reject certain executory contracts and unexpired leases under section 365 of the Bankruptcy Code, as well as the subsequent confirmation of its plan of liquidation. He also monitors the various legislative proposals pending in Congress that would amend the Bankruptcy Code.

Dan's mergers and acquisitions practice also encompasses venture capital and private equity transactions. He has worked on issues affecting business growth for developing companies, including stockholder agreements, licensing agreements, and employment agreements.

Prior to and during law school, Dan was an intern and volunteer at the White House under President George W. Bush. In 2007 and 2008, he traveled to Shanghai and Beijing, China with Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and assisted in the planning and execution of the U.S.-China Strategic Economic Dialogue.

Dan volunteers with the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless, a legal services organization that seeks to protect the rights of homeless and other low-income people in the District of Columbia through direct representation.
