Dana Frix is Managing Partner of Chadbourne & Parke LLP’s Washington, DC office and a partner in the firm’s Corporate practice. He is Chair of the firm’s Telecom, Media and Technology practice and editor of the firm's blog, TMTPerspectives.com. He is the organizing partner for the firm’s Outsourcing and Government Contracts practices.

Dana represents financial service and operating company clients, often in the broadly-defined telecom, media and technology sectors. Mr. Frix has a "company side" practice which specializes in representing operating companies (or those who invest in them) in a wide variety of transactional, M&A, regulatory, and litigation contexts.

In addition to general corporate, transactional and M&A activities, Mr. Frix advises clients on regulatory and public policy matters before the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Justice, and CFIUS.

Financial service clients include hedge funds, private equity firms, bondholder groups, private investors and unsecured creditor committees.

Company clients include cable companies, telephone companies, programming networks, broadcasting interests, satellite providers, wireless operators, data center companies, content providers, marketing companies, hardware and software companies, and companies with government contract and outsourcing needs.

Mr. Frix works closely with the firm's intellectual property, copyright, government investigations and litigation practices.

Mr. Frix began his career by representing competitive telecom clients with interests in overturning the extensive US federal and state laws and regulations that protected existing telephone companies from competition. Those clients went on to develop the telecom and broadband infrastructure which comprise the Internet.
