Daniel Gunter concentrates his practice on securities regulation and corporate governance for real estate investment trusts and other real estate companies.

Daniel regularly represents REITs in connection with public and private securities offerings, SEC periodic and current reporting compliance, corporate governance matters and Blue Sky securities laws. He has represented some of the largest sponsors in the non-traded REIT industry in both initial public offerings and follow-on offerings, including five REITs with a combined US$12.6 billion offering amount.

Daniel additionally has represented corporate clients in commercial real estate transactions, including joint venture due diligence, local counsel opinions, leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, and sale-leasebacks relating to distribution, warehouse, office, retail, industrial, multifamily, medical and hospitality properties.
