Daniel E. Elefant

Daniel Elefant is an associate in the General Corporate and Emerging Companies practice group and a member of the Cooley Business department. He joined the Firm in 2013 and is resident in the Palo Alto office.

Mr. Elefant practices general corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on the representation of emerging growth companies, venture capital funds and public companies.

Mr. Elefant received his law degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2013, where he served as an Editor on the UC Davis Law Review. During law school, Mr. Elefant externed for the Honorable Ming Chin of the California Supreme Court, and at the California Attorney General's Office. In 2008, Mr. Elefant received a B.A. in History, with honors, from the University of California, Davis.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Elefant worked on political campaigns and taught tennis.

Mr. Elefant is a member of the State Bar of California.
