Dan Merrett's practice is focused on corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, and other insolvency-related matters. He represents companies, secured lenders, unsecured creditors, and other significant constituencies in distressed situations, including in-court and out-of-court restructurings.

Most recently, Dan has been substantially involved as debtor's counsel in the chapter 11 proceedings of Black Diamond Mining Company, Chrysler LLC, and Dana Corporation and as counsel to MBIA Insurance Corporation as a secured creditor in the chapter 11 cases of Forum Health and its affiliated debtors.
