Dan Malone practices in the area of general corporate law, with a focus on private equity transactions, leveraged buyouts, and mergers and acquisitions. He has served as the lead lawyer in representing buyers, sellers, and their financial advisors in acquisitions and divestitures, restructurings, joint ventures, and other strategic alliances. Dan also provides general corporate counseling to corporations, private equity funds, and their portfolio companies, regularly advising them on general corporate matters including corporate governance issues, commercial contracts, and strategic planning.

Dan has represented clients in a wide range of industries, including automotive, consumer products and retail, health care, media, organic foods, and technology. Recently, he has advised Alcuin Capital Partners, Baird Capital, FleetPride, High Road Capital Partners, and The Riverside Company.

Dan is a member of The Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
