Daniel R. Johnson joined Cozen O'Connor in 2004 and is a member in the Global Insurance Group. He is resident in the Chicago office.

Dan has represented insurers and reinsurers in complex commercial property, general liability and professional liability coverage litigation. He has also represented product manufacturers, property management companies and other commercial clients in product liability, real estate and employment litigation. Dan has obtained jury trial and bench trial victories, won summary judgment and negotiated settlements for clients.

Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Amherst College in 2001, where he majored in religion and was elected the graduation speaker. He earned his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law in 2004, where he was a staff member of the Journal of International Human Rights, a Moot Court Board member and the elected graduation speaker.
