Daniel Stephen Stellenberg

Daniel Stellenberg is a partner in the law firm's Executive Compensation & Benefits practice and is located in the Silicon Valley office. Dan’s practice focuses on the design and implementation of equity compensation and bonus plans, executive employment agreements and the corresponding tax, accounting, and securities law issues. He also is actively involved with the firm’s transactional practice, working with employers to manage the transition of employees and their benefits during and after a merger or acquisition, joint venture, or spin-off.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Dan worked for several years as a software engineering manager at Altera, a Silicon Valley-based semiconductor company, and Dan has been issued four United States patents in the field of semiconductor software modeling. Dan’s prior experience also includes working as a compensation consultant at Compensia, a compensation consulting firm focusing on providing independent advice to high-technology company boards of directors.
