Dan is a shareholder at Littler. Dan represents employers in all aspects of litigation and counseling on employment law issues, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, wage and hour, and leaves of absence. Dan has served as lead counsel throughout the country in more than 50 class actions under various wage and hour laws and discrimination claims and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act and Age Discrimination in Employment Act. Dan has defended employers in over 25 states, including serving as lead and coordinating counsel in class and collective actions in more than 20 states. Dan has also worked extensively in other litigation practice areas, including state law tort, contract, and restrictive covenant claims, as well as various types of civil rights litigation. He has jury and non-jury trial experience in both federal and state courts.

Dan is listed in the Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA has selected Mr. Turner as one of the country’s leading employment lawyers from 2008 to present. Dan has also been voted a “Georgia Super Lawyer” from 2010 to present and a “Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star” from 2005 to 2009. He was one of only nine Georgia lawyers named by the International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers as a leading employment lawyer in its 2010 initial publication and has been included on the list every year since. He hwas been an Adjunct Professor of Litigation at Georgia State University College of Law from 2009 to 2011.
