Danielle F. Fern is based in Steptoe's Century City office, where her practice covers a broad spectrum of business and commercial transactions, entertainment and intellectual property transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Steptoe, Ms. Fern was deputy general counsel at City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute. At City of Hope, Ms. Fern handled a wide variety of matters relating to the institution’s research operations and marketing activities, including intellectual property license agreements, collaboration and consortium agreements, material transfer agreements, and sponsored research and clinical trial agreements.

Previously, Ms. Fern was an attorney at a prominent Los Angeles law firm, where her practice spanned a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate governance.
