David A. Newland

David Newland's practice focuses on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions for public and private companies, general corporate governance issues, and the formation and structuring of business entities. He also maintains an active pro bono practice and is a frequent volunteer at the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program's South Dallas Legal Clinic.

Prior to joining Jones Day, he worked in various supply chain roles at a large multinational company in the consumer goods industry.

David is a member of the Young Professionals of the Dallas Regional Chamber and currently serves as vice chair of the Animal Welfare Committee of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
