David Annis focuses his practice on patent prosecution and counseling, product clearances (freedom-to-operate studies), and assisting in intellectual property litigation. He has experience in patent portfolio management and development, as well as portfolio valuation and due diligence in the context of corporate transactions and licensing. He advises clients in design-around efforts to avoid infringement, and in identifying possible infringement by competitor’s products.
Mr. Annis has experience in a number of technologies, including eCommerce, electronic payment processing and banking transactions, telecommunications, information storage and processing, network communication systems, heavy construction equipment, internal combustion engines, hydraulic systems, flow control instruments, laboratory centrifuge and refrigeration equipment, industrial manufacturing machinery, and consumer products.
